What Are my Ford Lease-End Options?

What Are my Ford Lease-End Options?

At the end of your Ford lease, you can choose from the following options:

  • Purchase the vehicle
  • Lease a new model
  • Return the vehicle

You may have really enjoyed your lease and want to continue driving it. Luckily, you can easily move over to the financing process to make it yours. If you’re ready for some upgraded features, you can choose a new model from our inventory to lease next. Lastly, you can simply return your leased vehicle if you’ll no longer need it.

Purchase the vehicle

Will Another Ford Dealership Accept My Lease Return?

Yes, other participating Ford dealerships will be able to accept your lease return. This makes the return process easier on you since you can choose a closer and more convenient location.

When Do I Schedule My Lease-End Inspection?

It’s a good idea to schedule your vehicle’s lease-end inspection about 60 days before the end of your lease. If you don’t schedule an inspection yourself, a Vehicle Inspection Company representative may get in touch to set one up about 45 days before your lease is due to be returned.

You can opt to have the inspection done at your home or office if you’d prefer. It should take about half an hour, after which you can learn more about your vehicle’s wear and tear (if applicable). Then, you can decide to get certain items repaired.
